it's about me me me :)

Was at work, in the evening, felt really proud that I had dotted all the i's and crossed the t's and was upto date with work, even mentioned this to my colleague. On my way back home my phone rang, it was my daughter ''dad you have forgotten to pick me up. I am still at school and it has almost been an hour since the football coaching had finished''. Rushed to school picked her up and blamed the traffic for my delay. Must have a reminder on my phone on days to pick up my daughter. Feel absolutely stupid. Don't have the guts to tell my daughter. Hopefully one day. It's not the first time for me, let my wife down a couple of occasions, that's another story.
